Steps to Volunteer

  • Would you like to learn some new skills and join a friendly and supportive team?

We can help with our Steps to Volunteer programme

  • We will support you in gaining a Level 2 qualification in volunteering
  • We will give you access to a variety of other short training courses
  • We will develop an action plan with you and help you to achieve your volunteering goals
  • We will meet with you regularly and provide you with one to one support along the way
  • We will enable you to gain experience of up to three different volunteer roles at Strawberry Field
  • We can support you with travel costs

This is a six month programme with flexible hours to suit you!

The plan to open Strawberry Field to the public for the first time - so people can see a unique exhibition about the home, how and why the song was written by John, and allow visitors to explore the grounds as John did as a child - is very exciting.
