Visit Strawberry Field and immerse yourself in the authentic visitor experience. The Liverpool tourist attraction captures the hearts of all who visit and hold a special place in the minds and memories of visitors, both near and far, who step beyond our gates. 

Strawberry Field is home to an interactive visitor exhibition, cafe, shop and calm garden space. Feel the warmth, peace and magic Strawberry Field brings to you, while also providing the perfect setting to wander, unwind and dream in the same space John Lennon explored as a child.

Entry to the cafe and shop is free of charge. Tickets to our exhibition and garden tour should be booked in advance. 

Brimming with exclusive stories, Strawberry Field provides a unique addition to Liverpool and Beatles tourism. We are also home to the world-famous piano that John Lennon used to compose and record Imagine, one of the greatest peace anthems of the 20th century. 

Visit our interactive visitor exhibition where ‘nothing is real’ and learn through our media guide. Hear stories about John Lennon’s early years from those closest to him, and about the history of the site and The Salvation Army; including stories from the former children’s home and the inspiration behind the famous song Strawberry Fields Forever. Follow the tour outside into our gardens and enjoy a peaceful walk in the same space John Lennon retreated to escape the problems of his young life.

Shop authentic merchandise from local handpicked suppliers and stop by the ‘Imagine More’ cafe for delicious meals cooked and prepared using locally sourced ingredients. 

Strawberry Field represents a unique model of sustainable, responsible tourism. All profits from the visitor attraction support our work in the community and the Steps at Strawberry Field programmes, giving young people aged 18-25 with learning difficulties and other barriers to employment the chance to learn, evolve and gain new experiences so they are prepared for the world of work.
