Strawberry Field team awarded for Services to the Community Award

What an honour for Strawberry Field's Majors Kathy and Allister Versfeld to receive an award for great and valuable services to the community from the High Sheriff of Merseyside, Lesley Martin-Wright! Strawberry Field's mission director Major Kathy Verseld and mission development officer Major Allister Versfeld were privileged to collect the Awards alongside so many inspirational people who give support to communities across Merseyside.

We were also delighted to see former Strawberry Field Steps to Work trainee Callum receive an award. Callum joined our programme in 2019 and so impressed the High Sheriff on her visits to Strawberry Field that his commitment and determination to get into paid employment were also recognised through a personal award.
