Throughout Neurodiversity Celebration Week, we are celebrating neurodiversity through creativity and art! Two art exhibits will be on display in the Strawberry Field atrium, highlighting our uniqueness.

'Don't judge until you have walked in my shoes'
This exhibition has gathered worn shoes from people connected with Strawberry Field. Some have also included stories of where these shoes have taken them. This is a reminder to not judge each other, but to support each other like these shoes have supported their wearer on their journeys. It’s a reminder to take stock of who you are, where your shoes have taken you, where your shoes will take you and who you will meet along the way.

'Be Part of Our Hive'
Made up of hexagons, the idea behind this artwork is to show how we are all linked together. Each hexagon stands as its own piece of art created by an individual celebrating who they are. The hexagons are then fitted together and wrapped around each other, showing how connection enriches our lives.

Honey bees build hexagonal hives because hexagons are the most efficient shape to use the least amount of material while storing the most weight. We look to be wise with what we have like the bee and carry each other's burdens and joys.

Viewers are invited to get involved with this interactive artwork. Collect a hexagon from the atrium  or front desk, create your art and add it to the exhibition.
