Why your support matters
To keep our iconic red gates open and continue to support as many trainees as possible on our Steps to Work programme, we need your support.
We have received generous backing to open, but we still greatly need support to keep Steps to Work running.
Our History
If you’re a fan of the Beatles and John Lennon, this is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to be part of this incredible legacy. Your support will bring life back to this place where John spent so many happy times as a child.
Along with an impressive history, Strawberry Field is continuing the legacy of caring for young people in the local community through the Steps to Work programme. The site is now home to a vibrant visitor experience, cafe, shop and gardens, that inspires people today as much as the place inspired the young Lennon; a much-needed space to escape and explore, away from our busy everyday lives.
Our work in the Community
The training hub provides the opportunities to change the lives of young people with learning difficulties or other barriers to employment; those who may need extra support to develop the skills and confidence to secure work, live independently and play an active part in society.
Visit us
Your support can come in many ways, all funds from our visitor exhibition, cafe and shop go towards funding the Steps to Work programme so even a visit means you are supporting the work we do. You can also make a donation, volunteer or hold a fundraising event to raise money.
We need your help to keep our iconic red gates open for good.
