Strawberry Field wins two LCR Tourism Awards

Strawberry Field was delighted to achieve two awards at the Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards 2024. Hosted at Liverpool Cathedral, the awards recognise the best tourism providers across the region. We were honoured to be shortlisted for three categories: Small Visitor Attraction of the Year, Café of the Year and Accessible & Inclusive Tourism Award.

We are proud that our visitor exhibition and garden tour have been named Liverpool City Region's 'Small Visitor Attraction of the Year', sponsored by Ticket Quarter, for the second year in a row! The judges said of Strawberry Field, "This is an inspiring attraction blending history, music and community spirit. to create a space where everyone feels valued and is a place that leaves a lasting impression." 

Our Imagine More café was also awarded 'Taste's Café/Bistro of the Year', sponsored by Bolland & Lowe. This award recognised businesses within the tourism industry that offer outstanding cuisine, innovative service and excellence throughout their entire operation.

The judges said,  "This was a very strong category and the winner presented a welcoming and friendly setting, offered an excellent choice of food and demonstrated responsible Tourism Practices."

We were delighted that our café, which uses seasonal ingredients sourced from local producers and provides work experience opportunities for our Steps to Work trainees, was recognised in a category with such tough competition.
