Meet Karen

Karen Carter, Fresh Expression Team Member

Karen works alongside Allister and Joe, helping to create a new way of being 'church' and community at Strawberry Field.  She leads the Hopefulness Course on site. A native Liverpudlian, Karen trained as a reporter and worked in news and arts journalism. She loves meeting people and is a regular contributor to BBC Radio Merseyside’s Sunday morning faith programme, Daybreak, and Premier Christian Radio. Karen enjoys storytelling; her claim to fame is attending the same primary school as John Lennon – but not at the same time!
