Recycles

Recycles Merseyside has been providing training and volunteering opportunities to young people with learning disabilities/difficulties since January 2016. Participants get on-the-job mechanic training, by refurbishing donated bikes.

The rebuilt bikes are then sold back to the community, good as new. For a fraction of the cost of a new bike, customers get a quality, re-conditioned bike allowing the trainee bike builders to learn vital customer service and retail skills too. This unique operation encourages increased sustainability and benefits the most vulnerable people living in the area.

We can help you:

  • To improve your bike maintenance skills
  • Gain a qualification
  • Renovate bikes for people to buy

Recycles is open to all ages.
